II International Workshop «PLASMA AND ELECTRON BEAM TECHNOLOGIES FOR PROTECTIVE COATINGS»

16—17 June, 2010 Kiev


DEAR COLLEAGUES,

We are inviting you to take part in the joint Ukrainian-German Workshop «Plasma and Electron Beam Technologies for Protective Coatings», which will be held on 16—17 June, 2010, in Kiev at the E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute located at the following address: 11, Bozhenko Street.

WORKSHOP REGULATIONS

The Workshop will be held in the form of plenary and poster sessions focusing on problems of thin coatings (materials, technologies, equipment, application) for aircraft, ground-based and marine gas turbines, machine building, instrument making, building, power generation and other industries.

The time will provided at the Workshop for discussion of international cooperation areas, establishing of scientific contacts and concentration of efforts on addressing the main problems in the field of coatings.

Plenary papers should be presented in Power Point. Poster papers should be presented in one page of format A1. The working language of the Workshop is English. Simultaneous translation will be provided from Russian into English.

PAYMENT FOR PARTICIPATION

The cost of participation in the Workshop (with or without a paper) is 100 Euro, which should be transferred to the Local Charity Foundation «Welding Community» before 15 June 2010 for each participant.

Purpose of payment: For participation (full name of a participant) in Wor

kshop «Plasma and Electron Beam Technologies for Protective Coatings». The registration fee includes organizational costs, cost of a set of the Workshop materials, including the Workshop proceedings, tee and coffee in breaks, and social event.

A tour of Kiev (boat trip along the Dnieper River) will be arranged. Accommodation and travel costs are not included into the registration fee.

TIME SCHEDULE

Applications for participation in the Workshop, paper materials and abstracts will be accepted not later than 15 June 2010. Registration fees should be paid before 15 June 2010. Arrival in Kiev and accommodation of participants – 15 June 2010.

Workshop – 16 and 17 June 2010. Departure of participants – 19 June 2010.
